A much needed weekend away for Chad and I with some of our best friends Mike and Kristy! We headed out early Friday evening and made it to Glendale 5 hours later. Friday night we found an Oregon Duck pre-game party! GO DUCKS!!! Saturday we headed into Phoenix to Ted's hot dog place for a very delicious lunch! Never thought a hot dog would taste so good!!! Dinner and drinks at the Yardhouse before the game and then we got to watch the Buffalo Sabres win against the Phoenix Coyotes! A friend of Mike's from Buffalo NY was in town just for the game with his girlfriend Rebecca. We were able to hang out with them before and after the game! After the game we headed to a dueling piano bar that was SO packed! Never been to one and it was a blast! All in all it was a great weekend and time away! We came back refreshed and relaxed!
Home again and the girls were very glad to have us home. I think they needed the break from me just as much as I needed it from them. Everyone was a happy camper all evening! Dinner was a "snacky" dinner with whatever we could find and we ate in the kitchen for a little change of scenery.

After every single bath both girls get lotioned up before diapers and jammies... Makenna enjoys it because she tries to put the lotion on herself... she's not very good at rubbing it in but she thinks its fun. Karlie on the other hand screams terribly and fights me and tries to crawl away. This particular time she was overly tired due to minimal naps during the day and had the worst tantrum I have seen yet! This picture doesn't do justice! She screamed and cried and rolled over and over and over and crawled and banged her head on the floor and kicked her legs! She finally calmed down with a bottle and some snuggles... she just needed to go to bed!
